When I look at the chart with a logaritmic scale and draw a line it ends up somewhere between $5000 and $10000. Let's see what's going to happen. But yea, past performance is no guarantee for the future.

True, but the total amount of bitcoin owners are in the millions. AznHisoka stated that only 1000 people own bitcoins, which is simply not true.

Agree with the cutting losses, but we see these patterns all the time with bitcoin. Big chance it will be up to old levels in 4 days. The long-term sentiment for bitcoin is very bullish (or at least that's my opinion). Cutting losses i

Yea, they may be. But not now. The trader's goal is to buy low, and sell high. Selling low makes no sense.

As long as bitcoin is seeing these huge crashes for no real reason, it's not a mature investment vehicle. There's absolutely no valid reason to sell right now, this crash is just driven by panicking people. I think this is mostly

Day trading isn't really possible with Bitcoin imho. Of course you can trade, but trying to apply traditional analysis methods is useless. There are 2 good reasons for this: 1) the volume is (still) very low, and a lot of wealth is in

I'm doing this. Not Bitcoins, but Litecoins because mining bitcoins wouldn't be profitable at all. I'm running 7 XS (single core) Windows Virtual Machines that run CPUMiner (or minerd). They produce around 3.6 KHash/s pe

Actually you can here in the Netherlands. We have a website called thuisbezorgd.nl that allows you to order food from thousands of shops through the country with Bitcoins, and have the food delivered at your house.
