I know they're everywhere on the internet. I'm specifically talking about loops/mastodon. I want loops/mastodon to be a diverse place that has content from all over the internet.

PBC is a completely meaningless label. The only reason it exists is bluesky advertising. Bluesky is a corporation the same as any other.

No. Cars are amazing pieces of engineering and fun to drive. The people who vapidly flex supercars are an irrelevant fraction of the community.

I posted a cool clip from the UFC and got banned even though the content had a warning. It wasnt even that violent just a clean headkick ko. If I started an instance it would get defederated because people would take one look and assume its

This kind of national embarrassment happens multiple times per week, how does America come back from this. What does the future look like after Trump?

I do not know how to phrase this politely. I like the platform and the concept is interesting. But the people on it are just so far away from what me (and men my age) deem interesting and seem to be hostile to anything that doesnt fit their

Even with no beeps you put washing on > you go get it when its done. It doesnt matter if it sits in the washing machine an extra 10m or an hour.

Put out good content that people want to read and people will read it and pay you for it. Youtubers do fine with inconsistent revenue for each video. There is usually less risk writing an article than producing a video.

Mozilla tried this. But the only people who want this is consumers. Advertisers want as much info as possible to target ads so would never choose this option unless heavily pressured by consumers.

Completely disagree that news is already priced appropriately for the value it delivers to people. I dont pay for the news I read because its not valued at $10 a month for me but I still do value it. For me $2 a month is what i value it but
