Currently SDXL is better than SD1.5 checkpoints at pretty much everything other than portraits (or anime drawings) of pretty women. Unfortunately it seems that's all people want to generate, as is evident when you search for SD on Twit

That’s, of course, assuming that those 10 people would have gone to that specific news site and read that specific story if it wasn’t linked. Which is, of course, ridiculous. Those news sites are almost certainly gaining visitors from those

I’ve found Adetailer and Regional Prompter to be way better than the Comfy equivalents, sadly.

I mean, it’s ridiculously slower. They’re getting something like .5it/s at 512x512. I believe my 3080 gets 10? Maybe more If AMD improves their speed with this configuration on later APUs though - that could really hurt Nvidia.

I was tasked with photographing a teacher once for work. In her class was a child that pretty clearly didn’t know what was going on and just moaned the majority of the time. He, of course, had an aid - quite possibly an actual nurse - that

I think it’s a bit of A and B. Children aren’t a blank slate when they get into school. Genetics, parenting, and culture all have an effect. That said, the fact that teachers that make tenure basically can’t get fired for lack of performanc

Don’t forget the janitors, accountants, HR people… It’s all supply and demand. No (well run) company is ever going to pay their employees more than they need to.

Immigration of any sort does. Whether it’s a house or a run down apartment it’s all the same supply pool.

I can. I do high school senior photography and I asked the kids last year where they worked, and how much they made doing it. Oddly, that doesn't seem rude to ask 17 year olds. The ones working at Walmart absolutely made $17 an hour

We looked at a (YMCA) daycare center and it was more expensive, but certainly not as expensive as that. The infant section in particular was...dystopian, though. Also, no windows. They built it in an old mall. I couldn't get past th

I'm not a high paid tech worker like the rest of you, but I've never really considered the price of individual grocery items as a factor in buying it. If something was on sale - great, and I'd prefer that over other options.

On the whole? No. People that were making near minimum wage before absolutely have though, and I think that's been a huge driver of the inflation. Pre-pandemic, the Walmart in our area had a starting wage of $10 or $11 an hour. It&#

Also, it’s not the job of the Supreme Court to make popular rulings. It’s actually pretty explicitly not, which is why they have lifetime appointments. Popularity belongs to the other two branches of the government.
