Many people above the age of 35 hate TikTok almost entirely because young people like it, the same as (in the past) video games, rock and roll music, etc. Young people don’t vote at the rate older people do, and they won’t in this election

The market for NCIS is men with gray hair. I would guess most of that comes from women seemingly really liking stuff like Dateline, murder mystery podcasts, etc.

It’s pretty common in my rural area for people to move to a city after college and then come back (or go somewhere else rural) in their 30s or 40s. People often want to raise kids in the type of environment they grew up in.

I’ve heard it argued that speed limits as a whole could in fact increase fatalities. I believe it might be true in places with icy/snowy weather. Many people try to reach that magic number on the sign no matter what the conditions are.

My colds typically last 3 weeks with about 7-10 days of them being full-on. I also have an (obviously) terrible immune system and get quite a few per year. Obviously it’s not doable to stay away from school that much, and I only did when I

Any individual stock can tank to 0 as well. Enron would be a good example (fraud), though I see you at least had months to pull some of your funds out. Hell, even an index fund won’t be safe if there’s another depression. COVID 2: this tim

There’s a game on my Quest - I don’t remember which one - where when you hold the controllers up close to your face it pops up the controls, with arrows pointing to each button. That should be all but standardized, other than exceptions in

I was a professional photographer until late last year. Photoshop’s new AI tools are an absolutely incredible timesaver. Jobs that would have taken 30+ minutes (and probably wouldn’t look great) can now take 30 seconds. It was kind of amazi

I was a photographer until late last year and there were many weeks I spent 40 hours+ in Photoshop and I don’t remember a single crash. I’m on Windows, for what it’s worth.

I live in Minnesota and I hear gunshots regularly. I’m in a rural area though, so it’s not, you know, people killing each other. It’s hunting/practicing/plinking.

Maternal mortality goes up significantly with BMI: “The risk of maternal death increases with BMI; it multiplied by 1.6 in overweight women and more than tripled in pregnant women with severe obesity.” https://www.nature.com
