Not just in medicine, I just saw a post on the r/shitmomgroupssay subreddit where a therapist had mentioned antidepressants “masking” the true cause and the vitriol was immense. Now, I’d say masking was the wrong word - and in the case

I’m simply way too greasy of a person to shower at night. I’d rather sleep through the part where it’s built up the most, not waste the first 8 hours of being less greasy when I’m sleeping. I suppose different genetics in different regions

I really doubt it runs locally. Most people don’t have GPUs that are capable of generating images with anything approaching speed.

Vampire Survivors and Among Us were both out for years until they got traction, IIRC. That could have easily continued forever for both of them.

My job the last 10 years was a photographer, and I still take a lot of photos of my kids, dog, wife, etc.

Someone I knew in high school was working at the local tiny amusement “park” and had to go find someone’s finger after their go-kart hit another and he for some reason didn’t have his hands on the wheel. I don’t know if I could enjoy doing

I think Aftershoot is the most popular, but I’d search “culling” in r/weddingphotography to get a good overview. I don’t know if any run locally though so pricing might not be great for someone doing loads of images…that said a typical

I don’t know if it’s quite what you’re looking for but there are plenty of AI photo culling software choices for photographers.

I could only make it partway through the article before throwing up in my mouth so I don’t know if they mention that the FDA standards for birth control are balanced against the risk of pregnancy - which of course, men have none. I do find

That’s funny. I practically got into a shouting match for the first time ever with ChatGPT earlier today because I was asking it to create a function to make a filled circle of pixels of a certain size using diameter and absolutely not radi

I don’t know why they didn’t do that a long time ago (apart from limited hardware). So many people have probably tried GPT3.5 and bounced off unimpressed.

It’s not like the Cybertruck is alone in that aspect. I drive a Camaro and I feel like I’m surrounded by main battle tanks whenever I drive.

So when I took an 8 second exposure of the aurora on Friday and then used Capture One to process the raw to make it more vivid than it was in real life - is that a record of what was? Don’t get me wrong, I’m not super keen on AI type stuff

Tipping culture has turned insane, spreading from California out. That said, I’ll still take it (in restaurants) over a lack of tipping. It depends on the country, but in quite a few the wait staff are… significantly less motivated to actua

Sure. Green though? It’s the best. You know, I’ve never thought of this: does anyone with a type of color blindness consider their “favorite color” to be the ones they can’t distinguish?

Where is The Hobbit banned? A quick Google shows some Christian schools have (though the last mention is 2011), but certainly no US public schools.

I mean, that’s huge. Just finding music to use for a stupid little “story” on Facebook or TikTok post as a small business is an infuriating slog when you don’t really have a budget for such things.

Today’s the day you find out “actual health professionals” can be wrong or no longer up to date. That’s why second opinions on important things are vital.

Some studies have shown it (high fluoride, and possibly too low of fluoride too) affecting IQ. It’s a shame if you mention anything about possible negative effects of fluoride you get lumped in with the crazies.
