The poor of today (in developed countries) live absolutely lavish lifestyles compared to the middle class of 80 years ago.

It's not like it's impossible unmedicated. Plenty of people have and will do it. Obviously most people are unable to. I was always surprised just how few prediabetics did though.

Sure, and I totally get your issues. I was a damned wedding photographer and I'd only eat towards the very end of the night, and still had a few iffy days. As I stated, I originally tried semaglutide with no luck. I didn't try t

Sure, obviously there's no real way to compare that. I was just pointing out that the way it makes people feel isn't natural - as in, that's not how most skinny people feel either.

I apologize for ruining your day, that wasn't my intention. As I stated in my post I don't doubt that obese people have screwed up that signaling over time. Are your cravings off medication worse than mine? Probably. We'd

I mean, yeah. You could always just lose weight and probably get out of being prediabetic.

I’m sorry, but as one of the rare (decently) fit & nondiabetic people that have taken these drugs I’m going to call out your comment a bit. While I have no doubt that obese people have gradually made appetite control harder for themselv

DNP makes you burn fat, so technically it’s possible. It’s also dangerous as hell.

Huh. I’m at a healthy weight but I’m taking retatrutide for IBS and it’s working wonders. Very low dose, though. I originally tried it with semaglutide before the weight loss craze kicked off and the first few days of the week were worse an

Ah, but here's the kicker - we are a small school. My graduating class had 140, and it's shrunk since then. I believe the grades are now about 110-120 each or so. However, we have some very successful sports programs. The girl

Do you feel the same about Cory Booker's "nazi salute?" With the right prompt I'm sure PC-less Grok would have gone full black supremacist as well. Apparently at the same time it was blaming stuff on jews it was also s

As an addendum, my wife just messaged me about getting our daughter a worse child seat because ours is rated for 50 pounds. In Minnesota's new laws that means she needs to be rear facing until she's 50 pounds. She's a few m

We only have a 3 year old and a baby, but my wife and I have already argued a bit about this. She's all in on the sports train - it was a large part of her life growing up for her and her siblings. I, on the other hand, did a lot wit

While well intentioned, car seat laws have gotten a bit insane. Minnesota recently implemented some pretty nonsensical ones that are dependent on if they've outgrown their seat. How are cops supposed to know if they outgrew their seat

That's true. However, I worked as a photographer for about 10 years (quit about 2 years ago) and high school senior photos were one of my specialties, so I got to know a lot of teenagers. Overscheduling is, I think, the biggest issue.
