Not at all. Lighting and shadows can be calculated the exact same way as polygons. As for GI, voxels are superior to polygons. If you look at all the real-time GI technologies, they are mostly voxel based. Ex: Nvidia VXGI

Each voxel could have a normal. That would allow for smooth diagonal and even curved surfaces.

Continuing the analogy: It has been patched, you just have to be willing to install the hotfix. It will temporarily make the bug more manageable, but won't fully patch it until you perform a full reboot.

Thanks, this is a very useful script. I added my pi-hole (using neustar as upstream) to the script and found it adds about 2ms to the initial queries. After I ran the script a second time, the pi-hole average was half of neustar, so pi-hole

I don't believe much can be done with amateur videos, but official videos of celebrities could be cryptographically signed with a key only known by that celebrity/their PR manager. That of course could lead to celebrities not sign

I love this idea! Hopefully more people sign up. I suggest allowing a user to add their steam profile and automatically pull the games they own off of it.

They mention that you can use the Vive lighthouses and controllers. Would the Oculus sensors and touch controllers work?

If you want a simple explanation of bloom filters: To add to filter: 1) Get multiple hashes of the data. You can use the same hash function and increment the data each hash, or use multiple hash functions. You can do any amount of hashes

You have the two flipped. You can demo VR at some Best Buys, Microsoft Stores, and Microcenters. I bought an Oculus for $399. It's definitely worth it for that price, but I personally wouldn't pay $599 quite yet.
