What about cap-exempt H1Bs? There are tons of new companies which streamlined the process and which are offering "nearly-guaranteed H1B with no lottery"

One can trap an experienced seniour dev for a few years for a price of a fresh grad which may or may not turn out to be a valuable resource and which may leave at any moment. In this context quality of the grad is not much relevant.

"Ireland Wins Six Nations Grand Slam" is such an obscure, hyper-local event which should be a part of localization I guess. I understood every word, but not the whole sentence.

AFAIK US DoD pays for some of the Starlink accounts in Ukraine. The rest are paid for by volunteers at normal prices.

GY-521 in particular and MPU6050 in general make quite poor IMUs. Why do you use them? And what for in this particular case? What do they do in this set up?

This is a dangerous axiom which will take you to wrong conclusions. Elected officials may be better, more efficient and less corrupt at a local level, but this does not scale.

How about zipping the state string or, even better, putting it into a KV storage thus exchanging it for a 10-char string.
