I suspect it will come with some really big caveats. For instance what you wrote shouldn't compile, because i's storage duration doesn't extend to the end of the guard block. If you write guard { int i;

Yep, it's horrible. I use Vim 8's Termdebug. It just splits Vim in 3 windows - gdb console on top, program output in the middle, source code on the bottom. It does absolutely nothing fancy - you still type commands in the gdb wind

Also manpages are hyperlinked to each other. You can easily say "see some other page (3)" and an html viewer will automatically make that into a hyperlink. Try the man: protocol in Konqueror. They are an extremely useful resource

The problem I have with trade unions is that those usually start mandating how work is performed, rather than just acting as protectors of workers' rights. As a silly example, an IT Union could mandate that we all use tabs for indentat

We are in general long overdue for an overhaul of how corporations are run. The current model of hierarchical decision making and control parallels the monarchies and tyrannies of old. The worker is asked to be a corporate robot for 8 hours

It used to be trivial, because the OS had a configurable palette for GUI elements, which every single program followed, because it used the standard platform GUI toolkit. So going dark or light mode for the entire desktop was as trivial as

This is undefined behaviour except when using msvc. For GCC and clang, you should use [] (empty square brackets) to denote a variable length array at the end of a struct. For msvc, [1] is used all over win32 and is explicitly supported for

That was for back when CPUs didn't really have native division or multiplication. So a mul or div would literally be like calling a function to do it using other arithmetic instructions, except the function is stored in the CPU. Which

You can also say it benefits the artist because it makes it easier to listen to them, which incentivises people to give them money to support them. This is more or less the entire model of Bandcamp.

You can right-click->save-as the video link in the network panel of dev tools of either Chrome or Firefox. Google's own browser lets you save youtube videos with a few clicks. Also taping TV and radio is legal as well, even though t

I'd say if you only own "ACME, Inc" in the US (UK), you only get to register acme.co.us (.co.uk). In this case, when no company owns an international ACME trademark, there should be a body that maintains acme.com as a simple
