So this is the good form of "on Fire" right?

Stores are already doing that on craigslist and facebook, this would just be hooking up a delivery service to it and you have it. Still seems like a pretty weak idea.

Freedom of speech means you can't be arrested for saying something, not that a business that employs you can't fire you for saying something the disagree with. When A&E retaliated against the duck dynasty guy for saying gay pe

Yeah, I could see them demanding adding ads to the videos / pages. YouTube is a business and expecting them to host and stream videos worldwide for free is unrealistic. This seems like they would have the right to run ads anyway so I&#

It's from six months ago, it is being posted now in an effort to cause people to over react. There are a lot of problems with government of all levels siloing their data so even though I don't agree with ICE I also don't see

Yeah I did a search for "Surface" to see if he even compares the two devices and nothing, something tells me this might be a narrow view of the work-tablet world.

That's the 1% of the time that it's not better. Using a streaming service doesn't stop you from buying albums or song that you really want to keep around for a long time.

That's because 99% of the time the streaming service for music is better than trying to build your own library. It also seems to have a lot less attribution than video stream right now so people don't have to pay attention to wher

Sure but with what even a low end programming job pays I would put it in the "high end" job spectrum.

That is the reason they get away with not testing them, because they have a universal test they can look to. Software jobs are pretty fluid, so unless we have a massive standard test that cover anything from embedded c to FE with react, it

I don't see how that is actually doable all the time. In my short career I have moved from embedded c / c++ game engine / full stack / DBA / backend. All at different jobs with the previous manager not knowing I act

Sorry I assumed that the word 'screen' was universal. This is the first step, it is a waste of a senior engineers time with a candidate that is not even close to ready for the job.

Yeah we try to have a limit of 4 hours for this kinda thing. We understand that it is the interviewee's free time but when you need to screen 12 people for a job it is not worth a Senior Engineers time for a small startup.

Cooks do a stage after a phone / in-person interview where they work in the restaurant for a day or so (multiple days if they are expected to work with different people). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stage_(cookin

I see no need for another query language, I don't find using SQL to be that taxing, and I don't find using different tools for different parts of the stack to be a huge hurdle. This feels like it's made for people who have ne

Yeah, reading it seems like they were using a lot of bad design decisions. I will give them credit that it might just be harder to make a good design in OO. I'm sure a lot of that comes from people's NEED to stick to DRY and other
