Ideally, passwords are in the heads of users, not accessible from a device. A key would, necessarily, be stored on a device, easily stolen by viruses or by stealing the device. Also, it takes more discipline and understanding to handle keys

I still wonder why Uber is a thing. It makes no sense, it does not feel like something capable of reliable service and it got almost no use cases. Is it just a passing fad of some sort, like fidget spinners?

Funny thing is, my old OS project [1] is more or less that - it could be a typical OS with separate tasks and so on, but it is effectively a single program, and can easily be compiled as a single program with all the standard calls replaced

Didn't they kill it back in Windows 7 (or maybe Vista)? The whole attraction of Paint was that it was a KISS pixel-level editor, and it ceased to be so in the latter versions of Windows.

I made something like that for my PhD (procedural 3D models composed by natural language description). It's really easy to start such a project, but the gap between a cool demo and a practically usable thing is as vast as the void betw

Huh? No HDD, regardless of capacity, is cheaper than $50. So it would be $45000 just for the disks, 10x more. And then you need something to put them in. You'd like to buy something like 8 Tb HDDs, because the more disks there are the

Yes, the same guys who were behind "Bitcoin XT", "Bitcoin Classic", "Bitcoin Unlimited" and other similar scams. Can't see why this one should be any different.

A payment system. You want to send someone money or receive money without giving any third party an ability to censor the transaction. There is a reason that before all the "blockchain" BS it was called "Bitcoin".
