I am back to Cleveland from my vacation in Florida and this is the first time I refused to fly there, decided to spend 2 days driving with a night in Charlotte NC (didn't realize it is such a modern and vibrant city) instead. It ended

I agree it looks ridiculous. It is sad that such bad design will continue uglification of our streets.

I tried to order a static IP address from AT&T and most of their knowledge base article was pointing to a button / link in customer portal that doesn't exist anymore.

It looks expensive (per card), unprofessional (especially the use of an SD card) and impractical.

Cars are already ridiculously expensive thanks to all the mandates and many cars are not sold in the U.S due to prohibitive regulations (I wish I could buy a new Land Cruiser 76), this will only make things worse. What is the new cars endg

From my perspective (DevOps/SRE) Ruby is a horrible platform. It is heavy on resources, it is difficult to run (Unicorn is a pain), maintain, monitor, debug. Many Ruby projects has silently failed (Chef? Puppet?) and the biggest Ruby t

I am struggling to find a job as a DevOps/SRE for a whole year already and even though I'm not homeless (I was lucky to buy a cheap house in East Cleveland, OH), I'm barely getting by financially. I fish I could afford a gift

I just can't find anything as a DevOps/SRE. I had only a few technical interviews over the past 3 months, didn't pay enough attention to details when fixing a broken python program during a live coding interview, not sure why

There is not enough work anyway and there is going to be even less with AI and automation. I am struggling to find a job for a year already, seems there is no demand for DevOps/SRE anymore. Surviving thanks to a food pantry and a hous
