I quit sometime last Spring. I don't know what happened but I finally was able to. I think I feel happier because I have lower expectations and my small successes feel big in my mind because I am not comparing to others. For example, a

Fan fiction has a lot of problems with censorship as well. Recently, Games Workshop went after all fan animations on Youtube based on the fictional sci-fi setting it owns; Warhammer 40,000.

A lot of the content removed on Youtube is fan fiction. Many companies are effectively IP trolls. Games Workshop, for example.

I thought I wanted a non-renote job until I tried it for 6 months. Not for me. Working from home means living at work. I like my work so mos tlu5fine. I really enjoy coworking spaces. I don't even if my old one is running anymore but I

I don't know about you but many of us were remote for many many years before Covid. I don't see this mentioned enough but the fact remains: when you work from home you also live at work. It's a two-edged sword. Its hard to un

Maybe Apple already built the tool and was like "let's use this tool we already have but just targets specific child porn images". That actually makes them sound more reasonable.. kinda.

If you read the whole article (and please do before you comment) you will see the main point of the article. I agree that the problems with pithy hyperpartisan sound-bite media is nothing new. Social media is just another form of media, wit

I think we need a new src attribute that can have a fallback. There are so many parts of the internet where most of the links are dead. It's pretty sad actually.

I bought a similar kit from Smooth-On to make casting of Warhammer 40k miniatures. It was amazed at the detail and accuracy of what I created! The secret was using a back massager to vibrate the table to get out the bubbles! This is the kit
