That site is the one I used to get started with JS many moons ago when all they offered were that, HTML, and CSS. It's a fantastic resource that I can't recommend enough.

Agreed. It's bizarre, but I also know a large proportion of the population get their nutritional information nowadays from tenuously referenced YouTube/Facebook/TikTok videos by unqualified authors, so perhaps not surprising.

Agreed. I'm much less liberal with my estimates with external stakeholders than I am with close associates, purely for political reasons. If I say 8 weeks to my team, I'll say 11 to management/others. I get no benefit out of

If anything, you might be better with a food like Mussels/Clams/Oysters. They have the lowest levels of mercury [1], and if you're so ethically inclined, some of the lowest capacity for pain or sentience in the animal kingdom

Keep in mind I'm in the UK, so I think it functions very differently than in the states. Religion is already a prominent part of the culture there, whereas here I don't know a single person my age that has gone to church since the

It's a shame that heavy government intervention has made meat markedly cheaper than it has any right to be. It's unlikely we'd even be having the conversation about reducing meat consumption if it wasn't artificially pri

I've been using an Intel NUC 11 for the past year and it's treated me very well. Small form factor, and relatively low power usage although I've forgotten exactly how much.

I always say to people that CrossFit is my church, and while I say it with mild sarcasm, internally it is true. Everyday I turn up, see the same people, build a community to the extent we do socials, help each other out with all manner of t

As others have mentioned, be sure to write bunch of headers of what you're actually going to write, then work from there. Start by giving each section a title, then each sub section, then each paragraph. Below each title, give a one li

Correct. The vast majority of US cattle are grain fed/finished. "If all the grain currently fed to livestock in the United States were consumed directly by people, the number of people who could be fed would be nearly 800 million,

Agreed. Certainly within the UK, we're infamous for our sugar coating and nonchalant understatements. Politeness is the word in terms of business transactions or discussion, and I've found it often hampers everyone in reaching the

After nearly 100 years we've come full circle and the Elizabeth line is opening, connecting Reading and the town's West on London to the city through to Shenfield - although perhaps still not on the scale they originally pictured.
