I think we can have both things. There's no particular reason why the various revisions of a digital product can't be kept available. For example: I keep both the Star Wars Despecialized Edition and the blu-ray release on my jel

Part of the problem is that 'the company' accepts this 90% downtime, but managers running standups are paid to maximize productive output of their staff. So you'd be lying to your managers with the end goal of behaving as the

From what I remember from back when I first read up on this project: The goal is for as much of the construction to be done with simple tools and materials that can be stored long-term. If you need to, hypothetically, bury your society-boot

I think how we got to this position is key - people did try and explain why vaccines are safe and you should take them. And it didn’t work. The thing that does lover vaccine hesitancy is banning people spreading misinformation. It’s unf

I think there are, for lack of a better concept, tiers to climate change actions. Eating less meat would be something very personal, and I think you're right on there being an aversion totally unrelated to news, or propaganda of any ki

Well the real answer is large-scale political action. But the (American) political system is designed on the assumption that a tendency to do nothing is safer than a tendency towards action/change. Unfortunately doing nothing isn&#x

It seems to me like you’d be doing a lot more good if you used that excess power for something like carbon capture. Bitcoin is surely pretty far down the list of useful applications of that excess power.
