SafetyNet works in GrapheneOS. What Google Pay requires is that the attested signature is trusted by them, a lot of apps, including many banking apps (at least in the UK) use safetynet but do not require the signature is trusted.

I mean, it's hard to avoid indirectly using things that use npm, e.g. websites or whatever. But it's pretty easy to never have to run npm on your local machine, yes.

What is the risk here? Are you worried that in a year it will be missing a feature you want? It's client side javascript, aside from DOM based XSS (which if reported, you can probably fix yourself), there isn't much to worry about

You know, I'm sure if biodiesel/bioethanol can be a thing, then extracting cellulose from grapevine can make it too. It's just a matter of marketing it correctly ;)

It would slightly defeat the point of arranging it the way it is. But I also don't think the arrangement is that useful.

For a long while I was using MIT a lot, these days I have started switching to GPL especially for anything significant. All because of the nonsense and all the rugpulls.

At home I have an openbsd box as my network gateway running unbound and nsd. Unbound handles the caching and recursion, nsd handles the local name resolution. I have a small utility (made up of two shell scripts and a python script) which w

I really wouldn't want to be doing anything that requires reliability on the back of either solution as user agents can just opt to never send beacons.

Scale wise, from the served side, it these are inactive TCP sessions at the end of the day. There isn't a serious scalability problem that doesn't exist with beacons, except that you might need to create some new software to suppo

Yeah now I read this I think the author doesn't mean paying attention to the anxiety as much as he means reinforcing the anxiety by identifying with whatever thoughts it brings up. Which definitely doesn't help the anxiety.

I don't know about this. Paying attention to how your anxiety feels is a powerful way of noticing that it is just an experience like all other experience and there is a great freedom in realizing that you are not the anxiety, you are m

There are very few resources for learning C which aren't themselves full of terrible C. If you want a short introduction with the caveat that it only covers C89, only covers parts of it, and doesn't cover e.g. POSIX or anything ou
