These boilerplate code can be and are automated away using deterministic frameworks. No need to introduce a blackbox and be responsible to debug the stuff it creates, which sounds far more painful than the alternatives.

Not really, this demonstrated how bar exam don't require a large amount of reasoning, but lots of recitations. Humans are bad at reciting things, but a lot better (compared to GPT) at reasoning.

At the end of the day it's still a language prediction model. Which means whatever apparent logic you're getting out of it is from text that it has learned. not reasoning embedded within those text, but the actual text itself.

GPT has no reasoning ability, it has billions of parameters that make it pretend it has it, purely going off of previously digested material. As long as it comes across some reasoning process that have not been seen before in the training w

As a mac user, I have no idea what MacOS UI you're referring to is. I live exclusively in terminal or browser, all other apps are opened via terminal and closed with cmd+q. I like macOS because it doesn't get in the way even when

Does any such academic study exist for any editor comparison? Since according to you these are "literally the job of people" and "standard UX research stuff". This seems like a classic case of setting the bar arbitrarily

Like I said, there's no convincing you. On previous tens of discussion surely someone has came up with something, only for you to dismiss it as gimmicky. I am not going to spend much effort on a lost cause, but quick googling came up w

I liked Atom before I jumped into vim. I installed about 10 plugins that made my vim look almost exactly like Atom, except much faster, I also had a script that could install the exact plugins in any unix system in a few seconds, very usefu

You don't have to learn vim to craft a git message, most people where I work only know how to exit and they are perfectly fine using vim here or there as prompted. If someone were to learn to use CLI to begin with, I don't mind sp
