A very good point you make is those reference manuals. I still remember being about 11 years old entering the poke commands to makes sounds on the Vic-20 from the manual supplied. [1] Without them, it would have been impossible to get such

There must be prior art. Telephone voting on the Eurovision song contest? Customer helpline numbers? Comment cards in restaurants? Forgive me if I've missed something here.

I just don't get how this can be upheld. It's OBVIOUSLY impossible for Johnny Coder to be aware of every patent that has been filed to date. Copying someones overall design wholesale, I can understand. The "Look and Feel" copyright system i

I understand it to mean you should take time out in order to improve the overall quality of your work. Be that training, a vacation, or the literal "sharpening of the axe."

I do respect your work ethic, but it really depends on what you do as to wether this is good advice or not. As a creative type, I really wish I could just sit down and "Get idea's" and then create them. But the reality is that it just doesn

I think this old story is vey relevant here. I have employees that take a lower salary than others, but have up to 7 weeks holiday a year. I'm happy with that. One employee that has 7 weeks holiday has only had 1 day sick in the 6 years I'v

Indeed, I have looked myself for a costing. I guess that any disclosure of costs by the court would also disclose who paid said costs, and therefore... Ah, what a calamity. It's interesting that due to pressure some of the CCTV in the UK is

I've not needed to be anywhere at any particular time most days for about 8 years now. I sleep wildly like you mention, and often don't feel good for it. I recently went camping in the Lake District, and as the camp sites were very dark at

You might want to look at a project such as PhoneGap. I've been using them for a work related app on iOS, and it's incredibly useful and easy to use.

If you read through the eMails, it's hard to dispute Zuck pulled a fast one. So it looks like Ceglia has a good claim on 50% of Zucks share of Facebook: ""By virtue of his 50% ownership interest in the General Partnership, Cegliais entitled

I agree the author is onto something substantial. Google is a bunch of great add-ons without a message board. Facebook is a great message board with mediocre add-ons. Google needs a message board.

I'm loving that glow! Great work. I'm outside on a laptop and can hardly read the grey text though.

What I was thinking, put another way, is that they are taking a risk with these two price-points doing this and getting caught out. There is no need when they have headphones much cheaper, and MUCH more expensive than these two. I do agree

Agreed it's not fraud... But wouldn't it be (morally? commercially?) better to sell one product at the mid-point? I know in a limited range it's good to have a better and a worse to sell the median, but that doesn't apply here. They have ma

That's good :) I'm playing with Javascript gaming/coding at the moment, so this is very educational. Thanks. Some single player gaming would be great, although huddling round the keyboard is very (very) social :-)
