That's not universal. In my country, prescription medicine can only be sold in sealed boxes. Fractioning or tranfering to a different container is expressly forbidwn by law, so doctors always prescribe a number of boxes, not of pills.

There are plenty of valuable stuff we need on the asteroid belt. Going straight there from Earth would be much more difficult and expensive than launching from Mars. A self sustaining Martian colony would serve as a trade and resupply post

No need for any programming language in Windows 9X, just open a DOS prompt and use 'copy file.txt COM1: /B'. We used that trick back in the DOS days to print raw ASCII files on parallel (LPT1:) or serial (COM1:) devices. I&#x

You're confusing declarative with idempotent. Ansible is both, it won't change anything if the state is already what you declared. The nitpicked case you chose, you want the file to have the latest timestamp, this is a valid state

I like Ansible, but that doesn't mean thera are no pain points. One of them is handling "if-this-then-that-else-that". Being purely declarative, Ansible is horrible at that. Pyinfra can be used in imperative mode, am I right?

What people also forget is that if Windows 11 requires 8GB of RAM while Windows 98 only required 8MB, that's 3 orders of magnitude. If we adjust the size of our modern "bloated" applications using the same scale, an app that

Musk is even more cartoonishly villainous than MS. This is pretty much Lex Luthor against Darkseid. Unless it results in mutual destruction, doesn't matter who wins, everybody else loses. My take is that Elon is suing OpenAI because he

From a user experience point of view, Windows 2000 was absolutely awesome. An operating system should not get in your way and distract you from what you need to do the way Win 10 and 11 do.
