Indeed. Even the list of emails and their preview (master-detail layout) took long time to implement and it was in "Laboratory" settings or something like that

I agree that users learn how to use products, then get used to it. But, for example, in case of pagination I couldn't get used to it. Plus, the learning curve shouldn't be that steep

Interestingly I changed my pricing quite a lot, because many people were complaining that competitors are cheaper and it's kind of hard to hide this fact. But still I got some ideas which I'm going to implement, and hopefully incr

I guess we should not clone a product, but its okay to clone the idea. I used vk.com a lot in the past and in terms of UI it was much more convenient for me than Facebook. Same ideas, different implementations.

Yep, you should try anyway because if you dig deeper, you'll still find dozens or hundreds of more or less similar apps. What can you do? Make them better, or at least try =)

I wouldn't agree that people choose products based on what their friends are using. At least for me it doesn't work. While the second part is true, I agree. It's really hard to overcome existing players, on the other hand the

I'm okay with small products, like screenshot taking app. The more responsibility I give to the product, the more solid background it should have. For example, if I had a company with 100 devs, and I need a to-do app for them, I won&#x

Oh thank you so much, this is indeed cool feedback. Now I'm considering having many options for hack detecting, screenshots/crawling etc. Especially thanks for the imagemagick. When I researched for such libraries, I haven't

Then I'll need to make some crawler, which is also not that easy to implement. Maybe it's a good idea to have some kind of complex functionality, broken down to parts: - screenshots - links - DNS - ... so that user can enable/

Oh thank you for such a good feedback. Well, as a first step I thought that if we have a site with changing content, like a blog, then the area of blog posts occupies some percentage of the site. So we can correct the threshold, like, if th

If ads taking a big area, then the threshold can be bigger. Like, if more that 50% of site has changed, then notify you. If ads showing a nudity or something, then it's not possible to avoid it. However you just got me an idea! I can g
