The page does not contain the content. If you don't have the proper cookie, it redirects to a separate consent page; it looks like it's a popup, but the page has no content. It does not matter how much you massage the DOM or CSS:

It is not. An article from last month put the first case found by contact tracers to the beginning of January, at least two weeks before the first official "imported case". Sad that the full report hasn't been published: Payw

Also of note for HN readers: in "Bouches-du-Rhone", a high-density population area, a ransomware attack has rendered the local cities unable to send the statistics for the second part of March, which they sent manually. I'm n

For those interested, there's a breakdown by sub-region by French National Institute of Statistics: https://www.insee.fr/fr/information/4470857 Needless to say, it matches closely the COVID-19 clusters. Kudos

This type of practice right there is why there will always be a place for at least one cloud competitor. No company that is slightly invested in retail (directly or indirectly) want to increase Amazon's profitability by paying AWS.

Replying to self… I'm wondering if the recent per-country daily "Top 10" that Netflix is now exposing in its UI (now scraped by https://flixpatrol.com/ ) is not a response to ISPs already building this ? Like

I think you overestimate how complex this is to purpose-build once you have the basics of DPI in place. Also you don't need a precise measurement. Just measuring a random 10k users in 1M network daily will give you more precise viewers

Yesterday in their keynote, Oneplus dared to call the new Oneplus 8 "compact" with its 6.55" screen. Although to be fair it has a much better screen-to-body ratio than the SE.

If a CISO looks at this, she might think "great, so anyone entering a commercial relationship with Atlassian can now eventually take control of the boards of some of my employees ?". And that's not good PR.

I actually wrote a script to convert the HTML version of the SRE book to epub, and then to mobi; which I then used to read a few chapters on kindle. It was far from perfect, but did the job.

It might be a newbie question, but why use fputc and outputing character by character instead of using liburing to write directly to fd 1 ? (or writev?)

I've been using musl on embedded systems for a while, and its simplicity is indeed quite a feature. My biggest issue is the lack of ASan, or ever HWAsan. valgrind is nice, but quite slow. I know Rich has been working on a new allocator
