I've been using musl on embedded systems for a while, and its simplicity is indeed quite a feature. My biggest issue is the lack of ASan, or ever HWAsan. valgrind is nice, but quite slow. I know Rich has been working on a new allocator that will make ASan easier to implement, but it's still a few months away.
