LOL, nice try sacks. Also wonderful to see our president doesn't let his ego get in the way of an action plan by plastering his name all over something he has nothing to do with.

I'd argue that expressing contrarian sentiment can be substantive. Otherwise this would be an echo-chamber of agreement.

It's been a multi-day like conversation where multiple people are trying to obtain the transcripts, publish the text as gospel, and now the video. Like, yes thank you but, holy shit.

TL;DR: Karpathy says we’re in Software 3.0: big language models act like programmable building blocks where natural language is the new code. Don’t jump straight to fully autonomous “agents”—ship human-in-the-loop tools with an “autonomy sl

Purpose: Verify that Krisp’s noise-cancellation layer doesn’t break our existing VAD / turn-detection when the mic is surrounded by steady, broadband noise. Test setup: Open garage; dirt bike idling next to the phone to keep ~90 dB bac

Hiring a prolific designer, won't buy you the next iPhone. In fact, $6b would have been better spent on the supply chain, the manufacturing intelligence in Asia, and the dirty and difficult work of producing hardware. People forget, ho

I also ran across an interesting robot toy demo today that had voice built in. it was whimsical and seemed like it was aimed towards primary education and kids. Someone here might know the name.

Hey HN, I'm Pete, and I've built Sen, a real-time visual intelligence app designed to help people solve practical real-world problems. Through testing I've found Sen is best at guiding users through tasks like car maintenance

The user shoudn't have to research which model is the best for them. OpenAI needs to do a better job in UX and putting the best model forward in chatgpt.

One interesting note with voice AI is that you can shove static datasets into the long context windows of these newer models like 2.0-flash-lite. It creates a Model Assisted Generation(MAG) and returns super low latency and 99% relevant inf
