Sure, but that’s mostly because the sheer convenience of the illegal way is so much higher, and carries zero startup cost.

> The internet licence will make it difficult for both authors and readers on alternative media platforms Not really? Like the article says, they’ll just go to sites that don’t require age verification.

You can just accept the 100 character password and cut it off at something reasonable like 32 characters.

They seem surprised about this, but the cheating kids were always there. They just use different (and arguably easier) tools now. Blocking the AI won’t stop them from cheating, it’ll just make them revert to the old way of doing it.

I think that’s true. If I want to focus on the thing that is my current obsession I can invoke that focus whenever I want. Never mind if I’m at work, in the shower, or at a birthday party. It’s just not very useful to achieve the goals you

I have this problem but it’s mostly when I try to flick quickly. If I deliberately drag my finger over the page it generally works.

Which is exactly why I expected it to use my existing subscription, but apparently their integrated Claude Code decided to use the Claude API key I had set in Zed. Which I didn’t notice until my whole balance ran out.

I think it's just a TAD annoying that this stupid thing uses API key based cost when it has a perfectly good x20 subscription to work with. I just burned through my entire API budget.

I don’t think this is necessarily true. People that didn’t ship before still don’t ship. My ‘unshipped projects’ backlog is still nearly as large. It’s just got three new entries in the past two months instead of one.

Hmm, I definitely have more issues with AI generated code that I wouldn’t have if I did it all manually, but the lack of typing may make up for the lost time itself.

Wasn’t Warp an (electron based) terminal? Why suddenly agentic coding?

I think the article mentions this not yet being supported by the SDK, and therefore by the editor.

You ask claude to use an agent, and it’ll spawn a sub agent that takes a bunch of actions in a new context, then lets the original agent only know a summary of the results.

Does NPM work for you in the first place? Much less after 5 years? They’ll have gone through 2 major revisions on their lock file format, and it’ll complain you don’t have the exact version of node specified in your package.json

Can you still quantify something as ‘extreme’ weather if more than 50% of the days you are counting are such? Maybe we should instead switch around to quantifying the mild days xD

As a fun comparison, because I saw the population is more or less the same. The GDP of the Netherlands is about $1.2 trillion with a population of 18 million people. I understand that that’s not quite what’s meant with ‘small country’ but i
