Only if you think of the headset as being Valve’s. I think the think it’s the user using their own headset to run software that tracks them. I know, that’s an almost absurd concept in this day and age. But apparently it is possible.

I recently did a moon exploration in VR with a whole bunch of other people. They had a whole bunch of those pico headsets somehow syncing all their locations to each other, overwriting selective parts of the environment, and simultaneously

Reality TV in Japan is pretty nice. People mostly just spend time driving around the country talking to random people and eating tasty food. Sometimes they vary the thing and do it overseas.

Yes, it is work or starve. But you are going to work anyway. Thinking about the starve component doesn't help you enjoy it at all.

This is why it is perfect to have two brothers and a brother-in-law. We can at least get the four of us together to do something. Pretty sure we could manage 8-12 with friends, but none of our houses would be big enough.

If you actually build a binary protocol you'll quickly find that, unless you do very big worlds, 5 KB/s up/down goes a very long way.

I mean, it’s a thing in pretty much all lower level software that you want it to be fast. I guarantee you postgres and redis are trying to optimize the software to the cycle, because wasted cycles are wasted for all their users.
