I have CURRENT_TASK.md that does more or less the same thing. It also gets committed to git. So I guess that’s entire? Wish I’d realized I was sitting on a 60M idea…

This is literally what claude code already does minus the commit attachment. It’s just very fancy marketing speak for the exact same thing. I’m happy to believe maybe they’ll make something useful with 60M (quite a lot for a seed round thou

Surely all the engineers that existed 20 years ago haven’t simply retired? At the time if you told someone you couldn’t set up your own server they’d ask you what kind of engineer you are then?

It’s funny you complain about the sales pitch the guy gave you, but the comment itself sounds like a sales pitch :)

That as it may be. I spot bugs a lot faster when I didn’t write the code than when I did.

> What is the logic here? It is right often enough that your time is better spent testing the functionality than the code. Sometimes it’s not right, and you need to re-instruct (often) or dive in (not very often).

And thinking of how to convey all of that to Claude without having to write whole books :)

I don’t think you need to be an illuminated master to realize that the things that generally make humans unhappier are not things we are meant to do.

Marijuanna is the definition of a social drug. Who does that by themselves at home? I may be influenced by mostly encountering it in school environments but still.

At one point Gitlab seemed like it wanted to compete, but then they killed all the personal and SMB plans, and now they’re just out of the picture for a lot of people. Their team plan is more expensive that GH’s enterprise plan.

But everyone is crazy about GPU’s right now. Why not ride that wave for extra investment? All the benefits transfer to all the other things we can do with it.

I find that setting up proper structure while everything still fits in a single context window of Claude code, as well as splittjng as much as possible into libraries works pretty well for staving off that moment.

Is it really so controversial to ban it entirely? We ban heroin and other hard drugs. I think most people are better off, and have a more nuanced view of reality if the only news they get is local. Or the updates from people they know alway

If this was a good fit for SME, and the price paid for the whole thing was 4M pounds, why didn’t any SME win the tender? Seriously, that’s the whole yearly turnover for most SME shops I ever worked at. And all of them could do a better job
