I was afraid that would be a pain for people, sorry! You're right, I need to do this. There is a reason, which is that the exact same repo does double duty as the webpage (via Hakyll). It's super convenient because I have hakyll process the

When I was brave enough to test outside of urxvt and iterm2/terminal.app, it seemed that terminal emulators are all over the place in terms of background color support in vim terminal mode. You might have tried this already (and it might no

I hope that doesn't turn too many other folks off from the page and colorscheme. It may sound like a pseudoscience blurb, particularly if you aren't a color geek, but I sure didn't intend it to. It's all technically relevant and (I thought

fwiw, there is a high contrast option in the vim colorscheme (let g:solarized_contrast="high"). I'm working on cleaning up some of the build scripts that generated specific files (the mutt directory has an ugly shell script as an example, t

Thanks very much. Looking back at my early hg repos on this project I refined it for about six months. As an aside. I have a nominal post in my head contrasting the development and refinement of a colorscheme like this vs the infamous 41 sh

And for those that don't realize, the OP author also wrote up git subtree, which pretty much caused me to take git seriously and change from hg to it.

I recently discovered Hakyll and the DSL sold me. If you can hack on an xmonad config, you can build an amazing site with Hakyll.

I'd like to find out if this uses google's two factor auth (if you opt to use your account passphrase). A second issue: encrypted arbitrary note data I use lastpass right now along with yubikey for two-factor auth. Pretty nice.

I'm on a 16:9 ratio "notbook" (ThinkPad x100e) and with xmonad set to split a two-up view at the golden ratio, I get a 80 columns on the left pane (for certain values of Terminus). Love it.

1) I'd tell Dropbox you think the team pricing is too high and/or propose an alternative SOHO price point. They seem to listen. 2) I use Dropbox for personal use only and subscribe to the 50GB account. That being said I have also used Uniso

HN is already monetized. It's one of a couple effective vehicles for YC awareness. I have no doubt that many applicants first encounter YC via HN. That's a radically different monetization model than you might be thinking of, but many other

I enjoy RWR, but it's a bit sensationalist to use "seize" in that headline when what they really mean is "access" and by access they mean "access after explicit permission has been granted." I do think there are issues to be addressed, and
