   There's a simple and very obvious solution to this - just don't do any treatment you deem unnecessary or excessive. Treat anything unambiguously threatening, and just keep an eye on anything else.

   I'm consistently amazed at how doctors aren't required - at least in Australia - to talk about side effects or withdrawal symptoms when prescribing medication. I'm capable of googling things, but it shocks me how none of this
