Sunscreen for the face should just be daily. My dermatologist recommends it even in Berlin in the Winter. And then, this is most critical, use mineral or at least creamy sunscreen (sprays barely do anything) and put it on a few minutes bef

A bit OT but if your house is so big that you can't even hear the laundry buzzer it seems like the size of the house itself is a stressor.

A bit OT but you may want a side loader. It's obviously not ideal to leave it overnight but the few times that's happened to me there isn't any mold. I'm guessing you have a top loader, it may not have been cleaned in

Yeah I think that happened to me yesterday. We had a new priest (actually retired and visiting) and the homily was 10x more engaging than the normal ones. I fear that the rest of the congregation didn't like that he wasn't using

I went back - really don't like the wobble of the Kinesis keys. Ironically I prefer just an Apple keyboard since it matches my laptop (making going back and forth easy).

It's sort of a small country but bigger than Finland, Denmark, Ireland, New Zealand, Qatar. It's actually right about in the middle in terms of population.

This is real and there's no way to get these problems down to zero. However I do believe that the best first step is to make sure the government has more employees and fewer contractors. It will cost more year to year but the deliver

Yeah I hard disagree with their statement. I've come to observe with having kids (and also moving to Germany and seeing other kids shaped) that so so much is taught. There is a ton born into a kid but so many things like the ability t

PayPal was a counterparty so if one side didn't pay or there was a dispute then PayPal was stuck in the middle. Visa and MC are just payment networks and have minimal risk. The only risk I think would be criminal liability (handling

Lots of people were using svn and mercurial was also coming up around the time that GitHub launched. Both git and GitHub were superior to all the other options but for many people they did the switch to GitHub and git at the same time.

Yeah that's why startups often pick iOS first, get product-market fit, and then do Android. The fallacy that abstractions tout is that Android and iOS are the same. They are not. A good iOS app is not 1:1 equivalent to what a good And
