Yeah, but you did get it. I'm not particularly careful myself, but I obey our local laws, wear a mask when required, etc. and I haven't caught it but I'm still getting my vaccination on Monday. It's also baffling to me

Work much better for you perhaps. I'm not sure why installing plugins invalidates Vim, when everyone I know that uses VSCode also installs many plugins. The difference for me, is that I only have what I want. My requirements for an edi

Yeah, in a town near the one I grew up in, there's a street called 'Butt Hole Lane'. That made me laugh a lot when I was younger, even when my parents explained to me what the 'Butt' in this context meant.

Can second this. I was having quite bad wrist pain, and wanted to try a split keyboard but didn't want to 'break the bank' in-case it didn't' work. I bought the optional VIP kit to add some tenting ability and I&#x2

I'm vegan but I do agree. However, myself and other vegans I know do only use these alternatives on occasion. They're definitely not a part of our daily diet. I probably have vegan cheese once a month at most. Being vegan is a big

I'm vegan, and probably not. I've heard that most vegan substitutes are processed heavily so not really more healthy (and probably less healthy than non-vegan options). However, I do still eat them on occasion. Sometimes after a 3

I guess I'm also old, weird, and out of touch :) I cannot begin to describe the annoyance I experience with filling in forms on a mobile device, especially if I'm hunting for a good deal `to -> from` and need to keep going back

I'm really enjoying working remotely, and in-fact my company is allowing people to work perm. from home, a hot-desk system where you can book a desk, or if you want to work three or more days a week, you can get a permanent desk. A cou

The default boundary should be "I do not want to have sex with you". It's even more important when one person is in a position of power and when there's an inherent element of trust (teacher, mentor, etc.) because it&#x2

I'm not a jury, I do not require any proof. I'm not asking for the guy in question to be arrested or anything else. The story has come out, now it's a matter for the relevant authorities. I'm merely saying that I belie

Seriously? How often does this happen? Unless you are a terrible person, I doubt anyone would try to ruin someone's life like this. This lady seems to have her head screwed on. Her post doesn't seem to me like she's trying to

I'm not sure if I'm different or not, but I've shared a room alone with female friends on multiple occasions (when younger) with literally nothing happening even when we shared a bed. Obviously, we were long time friends and

Hey, I've been using your search engine since I saw your Show HN post. Sad it's gone but I understand, thanks for putting it out there and not compromising on your core principles.

How do people use Docker on Mac? It's so slow for me I've started to use my X220 (Linux) as it's faster than my 2018 MBP. We use containers inc. a MySQL container and accessing it is incredibly slow, with a request taking 5-1
