Yeah, but you'd pay about the same price for gigabit ethernet from a company that isn't trying to kill net neutrality. I'd much rather google spy on my web browsing (they probably do with chrome anyway), than Comcast.

If you get yeast in your intestines and you're taking antibiotics, you can get what's called Auto-Brewery Syndrome. The yeast in your intestines starts to ferment sugars and you get drunk all the time.

Sadly, such wordsmiths are far from rare in the world of business. Very often they will go through linguistic gymnastics to make every action of theirs sound good, and justify things they shouldn't have done as okay. In my personal exp

I grew up in Greer (about 20 minutes down Wade Hampton Blvd from BJU), and my mother, even in 2005, still believed that D&D was satanic. She had converted to Judaism, never went to BJU, and still she held that belief because of the mora

XNA was quite far from what Unity is. Unity gives you a full engine, whereas XNA was a framework and you had to build the engine yourself. It was a great little library, but it was painful for unskilled software developers (myself at the t

Some of us have HBO GO, pay a cable subscription, have Amazon Prime, and still pirate it. It's nice sometimes to be able to download it once and then not waste the bandwidth watching it again, especially when your ISP puts a bandwidth

Oculus may be the leader, but they're certainly not the only game in town. Jeri Ellsworth (Technical Illusions) with the CastAR, Sony has one, GameFace Labs, Durovis, etc. are all competitors. Even if Oculus is the best thing out there

Kickstarter already has plenty of exploitative scam campaigns. I knew (I use the term loosely, more like I had to ban from a social group for being offensively rude to women) one of the guys that ran a successful kickstarter. He hasn't

It is brilliant on Facebook's part. They know they are widely loathed among internet users. They can use this Oculus acquisition to show the world that they aren't just some evil creepy web site with no regard for anything but the

Thanks for the info! It really helps knowing how others have solved problems like that. I am interested to know if there is an open source finite state machine for building in SC2.

I figured this was how it worked. What ways did you use to get an accurate model of the rules? Did you just use wikis and a stopwatch to figure out how long builds take, what can be built when, etc. or did you actually memory watch or decom

An iPhone camera isn't really good enough to OCR vehicles as you move past them in a parking lot. You get skew from rolling shutter effects, plus it's going to be shaking violently when attached to an automobile without proper dam
