Walking everywhere also saves you money on gas, but do you really want to do that? I don't think a straight razor is a fair comparison to their product.

I'd start out with Investopedia ( http://www.investopedia.com/university ). That will give you a good overview and teach you the key terms which often make other investing books confusing.

You'd need to get a brokerage account that allows you to trade sovereign bonds. (I think TD Ameritrade might do). And from there it should be a straight shot. The only problem is that if you invest only a few hundred bucks, trading commissi
