It’s not about how much value your labor provides. It’s about how much unique value your labor provides. Most IBs aren’t making millions in the same way that most engineers are making what a Principal at a FAANG makes.

It’s more work on mobile than just copying the link. If someone really cares, they will come along and de-amp it like you did. I personally don’t get the zealotry on this issue is for news sites. Non-news I understand, but I usually prefer

Restaurants only pay because consumers demand it and would not visit the restaurant otherwise. That’s not rent seeking. That’s market forces. And what they pay correlates with how much their customers demand coke/Pepsi.

This is incorrect. Companies do the experiments. They just don’t publish the results. Why would they? The idea that Amazon doesn’t know the ROI on their ad/marketing spend is laughable.

From a journalistic standpoint, including the formula would require a longer digression into contour integrals than the one clause the article currently contains. It’s also not clear what license that image is available under.

I’m not worried about in-building coverage. Most buildings have WiFi. I’m talking about walking block to block. If many more blocks have antennas, then my problem is solved.

Walking around a big city leaves a lot to be desired with 4G. There are constant dead zones, bad hand-offs, poorly configured repeaters, and endless cement/concrete. I am very much looking forward to 5G foxing this.

I agree with you in theory. I really hate that the fast.ai course uses their own fast.ai library. Numpy is a bit different though as it “fixes” inefficiencies in Python’s typing system. A list of Python integers is actually a list of C stru
