Yep, I would never carry this much on me. In most countries you need to declare such amount when crossing the border, and explain why you have it. And of course in the US any cop on the street can just take it from you, with no recourse. I

And the effect for a donkey would be probably similar to eating plastic bags: They cannot properly digest it so they suffer from malnutrition, eventually die.

Alcohol is actually one of the more potent drugs, saying "even alcohol can do it" severely underestimates its destructive power.

Tatami mat size is basically a one-person bed - so you are measuring rooms in terms of how many people would be able to sleep on the floor if spaced evenly :)

Prices of electricity have spiked as well in Europe, thanks to the war in Ukraine. I just recently read an article saying that in Netherlands it's now more expensive to drive electric car than gasoline powered one.

It does not get repeated because it would suggest that sea level changes are natural, as opposed to being caused by industrial CO2 emissions, and limiting CO2 emissions is a huge business right now.

Two-factor authentication is my least favorite thing about PSD2. Back in the day I would simply memorize my credit card data, and was free to buy anything online, anytime. It also gave me confidence during the vacations abroad that if i get

I think they meant "in the West". Which makes sense: US and UK sold us to Stalin in Jalta, so they had to wipe the memory of Polish participation in WWII (or at least downplay it), so their societies could feel good about themsel

And if you take a longer weekend trip you'll need the whole next week to catch-up on charging. 11kW seems like necessity - it allows you to charge 0-100% overnight. No advance planning, no compromises required. Also, I'm curious:

Math does not work here: 8h x 2kW = 16kWh. Tesla has 60 or 100 kWh batteries. It only works if you take only short trips (like commuting to work) and never go below 70% of charge.

It has been told before, but I'll repeat it: US has such high healthcare cost, because they are pushing boundaries of what's possible in medicine, both by inventing new drugs and innovating in surgery and other forms of treatment.

MSRP will remain theoretical - due to supply chain disruptions I expect that average consumer will have to pay at least 50% more, if they are lucky enough to find those processors in stock.

That’s because they can. Every country in the world would gladly do the same (Who doesn’t like some extra money?), they just lack the economic and military power the US have to enforce it.

No expert on algorithms, but: Sorting an array is O(n*log(n)) Hashmap operations are constant time, and walking through array to put stuff in it is O(n) So, implementation based on Hashmap should be slightly faster. It requires extra memory
