Firefox updates tend to be extremely information-sparse. For example, what does this mean: It is now possible to copy any file from your operating system and paste it into Firefox. Thanks for the info, Mozilla. I keep updating your product

From the article: The FBI did not respond to a request for comment, but law enforcement agencies often complain that end-to-end encryption makes it hard to scan messages for criminal plots and for police to recover evidence after the fact.

From the article: Are Trump supporters right that the indictments are just a political witch hunt? Of course not. As a card-carrying member of my class, I still basically trust the legal system and the neutral arbiters of justice. Trump is

Yet another article from The Guardian to convince you that the media and the government would never lie (most certainly not when your health is at stake). Everything is a conspiracy theory unless it is proven true (happening a lot these day

My short wishlist for any new language: 1) a swap instruction 2) true integer data type 3) no distinction between binary and text 4) goto and loopback (if statement or similar as target)

I have no idea what karma is used for. Does it affect one's posting ability (I posted with 1 karma and the post was immediately flagged as dead)? I created my account over a month ago, managed to get 6 karma and then ended up with 1 ka

No words for how stupid this is: Ramirez objected to packaging that said her macaroni and cheese would be “ready in 3-1/2 minutes” because it did not include time to remove the lid, add water and stir in a cheese sauce pouch.

The climate change experts are befuddled yet again. Nothing is working as they expected. Maybe they missed some important parameters in their computer simulations.

It is truly unfortunate that most languages lack a built-in swap instruction. Anyway, as written, your example looks like an infinite loop (Remainder Section would need to force an exit). What is the status of "lock" on entering t

The idea of working for NASA on a 50-year-old assembly language makes me salivate. What processor? Reportedly a custom-designed 18-bit CPU. So any ASM programmer hired for this would have no prior experience and would have to learn from scr

That might be useful in some simpler cases. Lately, I've been hacking into some really hard stuff that pretty much required the use of two web browsers due to caching, garbage popups and other matters. One browser doing the debugging a

The overlap would be due to the JS obfuscation. This makes it both hard to debug and hard to run the debugger. What is needed is a way to unravel the obfuscation. This is mostly driven by a massive lookup table which contains text strings t

The debugger command abuse can be defeated (as already mentioned in this thread). A devtool detector is used in order to invoke stronger blocking methods such as forcibly reloading the web page until the console is closed.

I have yet to receive an email from GitHub about this. As it is, GitHub will send me a TOTP code by email when it sees that my IP address has changed. It isn't forced for every login. I don't see why this arrangement would change.
