On the other hand when a human driver causes an accident one driver learns a lesson (maybe). When a self driving car causes an accident all cars get to learn from it.

Here in Wisconsin the frames usually rust apart and become unsafe to drive well before the drivetrain fails. My last car made it just shy of 200k before the strut mount rusted through the unibody. Now that I coat everything underneath with

If it were allowed and available I bet a huge amount of Texans would be buying 155mm just for bragging rights.

I don't think it's difficulty in verifying, it's just not the right tool for the job in a lot cases on an airplane. Aircraft don't use much steel, and aluminum welds typically have a heat affected zone (HAZ) adjacent to

As I understand it this new antenna changes frequencies in the collapsed/omni states so you would then need multiple transmitters/antennas on the drone which would be weight prohibitive. Antenna tracking ground stations and divers

We already have helical antennas and most fpv is done at a high enough frequency that the antennas fit in your hand. Might be nice for 1.2ghz or lower but even there I can't see it folding down much lower than a VAS crosshair or peppe

Every year or two Ebay rewrites their UI and makes it slightly worse. I kind of wish they'd laid off a good chunk of their designers/developers three or four UI's ago.

You definitely are locked into a location. I went this route with a large basement lathe, milling machine, drill press, welders, etc and while I love them all if I ever move more than a couple hours drive away I'll probably have to se

I really appreciate Project Farm's reviews, and regularly watch them, but I often wish he had more of an engineering background. Some of the tests he comes up with fall in the worthless to downright misleading category. Not a lot of t

It's vague marketing speak, but I took that to mean now that you know the pan temperature you can monitor and not burn your garlic. Now I'm envisioning a stove with a stalk coming out over each burner with an infrared temperature

That's one of the main selling points I think. With a 3kw battery in there you could supplement the output using the battery to reduce peak amp draw, then slowly recharge it later.

The gyros in RC are misleading. They are a sensor (gyrometer) which isn't using mass to counter movement, the are merely letting the plane know when it has shifted so it can move the control surfaces accordingly. Gyros have mostly bee

The cfm from electric leaf blowers are so far off from commercial gas blowers that I'm not confident they'll ever reach parity. Plus if you use high end commercial blowers you'll find that their effectiveness is somewhat exp
