Not sure this is really appropriate here? It's not really new or interesting, unless I'm missing something. As much as we all like to download Linux ISOs...

I've been on Reddit for over 10 years now and have to agree. Generally all the larger subreddits are fairly left. There have been some hard right subs, but most of the larger ones are banned now. I find a lot of the mods of large subs

I have to agree with this. Most of my immediate team are in another continent, others 100 miles away. I'm used to working 'remotely' to my team, but still from the office. The office is my social space, where the company cult

It's not _terrible_, but could definitely be improved. I'm fairly content with my current situation. My phone has 'WARP' charge, which fully charges it in less than half an hour, however it can also charge (at a slower r

It looks nice, but not really sure who the target market for it is? It's pretty easy for a dev to send emails from Google Sheets using Apps Script. If you want to send bulk, custom emails, then something like MailChimp can do this for

Oh wow, owned mine for years... never knew that. Often been annoyed when despite nothing playing on one device, it wouldn't switch. Great tip, thanks!

It does make sense... if you want to build a software company, already having SE skills would be very useful. Exactly the same way a salesman would be better at starting a sales company, etc.

Not done any research into it, but I always thought OVH was supposed to be a very budget VPS service primarily for personal use rather than business. Although thought it was akin to having a Raspberry Pi plugged in at home. Again, I may be

I do love Notion, I think it's a great tool - but it almost does _too_ much. I spent ages trying to build out a To Do list, added different views, filters, an inbox for it, categories etc. then ended up giving up and just using their o

Working for a global tech company, with a line manager and team in another continent I've grown very used to having Meet calls. I've also worked here for most of my working life - so I've grown up with having virtual meetings

I've done one of the AWS certs a few years ago, found it was very much a memory test. A lot of questions on easily Google-able things. I learned a lot from the training material, but don't think the exam itself really proves that

Great work as always! Not a network pro, but know from network engineers I've worked with how complex and expensive MPLS and SD-WAN can be. Going to get them to have a look at this.
