Honestly, I agree with you. I believe we should have control over our own data, and it looks like Google is giving us that. So I'm glad we can choose to enable/disable this ourselves.

That is true, I don't really know what the answer is. You could do something like show half code/half readme, with extra code hidden behind a fold.. but I'm sure that would annoy devs working on those additional hidden files.

I know obviously files are important in GitHub, but for the opening page of a random repo I think I would actually prefer to see the README first. I just went to the Explore page and picked the first repo: https://github.com&#x2F

I didn't know Cloudflare offered that, looks nice. Wonder how these compare to Ngrok?

I've found GYB works quite well: https://github.com/jay0lee/got-your-back It's created by the developer of GAM - a popular tool you may have heard of, for managing G Suite.

Amazing seeing how far the effects can go with a surface burst and radioactive fallout with the W-87. Probably on some list now though.

Wow, thanks so much! Always thought it was bug, turned that straight off.

Something I still don't understand, similar to this - not sure if it's a bug or feature but I use Desktops heavily, especially while working at home without my extra monitors. For some reason, the order of my Desktops on Mac seem

I agree, companies are happier paying for things as they have someone to blame when something goes wrong. Maybe if they just offered a paid support plan, but kept the actual service itself free?

Saw this when it first came out, never tried it until now. Used it for around an hour and I've already made 2,000 requests and 15% of those were blocked. Can definitely see myself going over 300,000 requests (free monthly allowance) bu

You can choose what blocklists you use and whitelist individual domains, so you can make it not block the t.co links.

Love how Cloudflare keep coming out with all these new tools, 1.1.1.1 DNS, then VPN, isbgpsafeyet.com now this. The CEO is awesome too, and often hangs around HN. I seem to be getting pretty accurate results unlike others here, not sure if

Currently use the Student plan, love Notion! Do sometimes get lost and wonder if I'm doing things in the most optimal way though, it's so powerful.

Yeah, pointed it to the crx, set it to force install and nothing happens. If I install the crx locally it works fine. No way of seeing any logs to troubleshoot, pinged a message to our reseller but that method is looking like a dead end.

For testing sure, but this needs to go to just over 1000 people. The only example I can find online on deploying via URL is this: https://support.securly.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036540753-H... Can't see

On a positive note, I signed up to get a Chrome Developer account today - made a submission and it was approved within an hour. Read it could take a month plus be delayed due to COVID-19. I was pleasantly surprised.

Funnily enough, I was actually trying to figure this out today. I created a very basic Extension, to modify the new tab page (as it's something you can't set in G Suite the way we'd like it). I wanted to deploy it our G Suite

Wonder if this update could be related to an issue I had. Installed Snap Camera a few days ago, was on a video call and when I came off it the green camera light stayed on. Even after quitting Hangouts and Snap Camera. I restarted and the g
