Yes I am baffled how modern apps are painfully slow. Everything seems to include a Chrome Embedded Framework and therefore have an entire browser running. There is sadly a generation of people who grew up after .net was introduced who think

No, I am saying that the current amount of chargers in locations (10) is likely sufficient for the existing "demand", but woefully inadequate if the artificial demand being constructed by forced quotas was actually met (ie, if all

Consumers do not want to buy electric cars, at least not in the UK. They are far too expensive and the infrastructure doesn't exist. Visit a motorway service station and see 10 chargers in a car park for hundreds of cars. The governmen

This seems overkill. You only need a Pi. I have a Pi4 fanless running: 1. lighttpd exposing a website, using letsencrypt and a cron job to run certbot and restart lighttpd. 2. mox ( https://www.xmox.nl ) to run a mail server, with

Witty isn't it. It seems to have all the hallmarks of the same "total cost of ownership" study of Linux that Microsoft issued during Ballmer's years...

And yet, we managed to work on PCs that were significantly less powerful than modern phones for decades, and got things done! If you are expecting your phone to be identical to a modern PC then yes you will be disappointed. But its processi

What a strange argument that seems to romanticise this "border" called "the law". It is black and white: someone is defacing something that doesn't belong to them. You can call the result whatever you want ("ar

I followed a Tesla yesterday. It was clearly on autopilot along this single lane road and it was veering all over the place like a drunk person, sometimes into the verge, sometimes over the double white line (the line you should not cross i
