This is the most HN "diss" response I've gotten in years and I genuinely enjoyed it. You missed the point so far while trying to sound intellectual I'm absolutely floored. Thank you for the happiness this granted me to

I'm genuinely confused why HN users (Tesla addicts?) down-voted this?

Yeah, I've mostly lived in Boston MA and New York as an adult and I'm not religious. That said, even as a liberal if I have children they will not be educated in the United States. I'd happily move to France, Norway or Swit

I share your concern with the lack of repairability and fully admit I'd never buy a Tesla. However, I think this depends on your definition of what a "minor" accident is. Generally, accidents that surpass cosmetic damage an

The notion of China posturing to defend / support the idea of intellectual property is patently hilarious. Obviously, the core of this is not appeasing to Chinese / CCP censors but the headline is funny nonetheless.

Well yeah, because supposedly "free speech" is a problem now. Sad state of affairs, such a childish nearsighted worldview to hold.

The sad part of this narrative, including cursory information both from this article and what mainstream outlets report, is the notion that only a certain racial subset of the country is "unvaccinated". I'm vaccinated and I

This is pretty much why I've avoided professionally doing front-end dev. The investment of time seems basically guaranteed to be worthless in less than 2yrs. I wish I was better, since then I could truly build my own products - but I&
