5mg melatonine, headphones with podcasts which I don't find irritating (curating such list is harder and harder) and a facemask. It works irrespectively of stress level on a given day.

There used to be something like apt-build which downloaded sources of whatever you need using your distros source repositories. I don't know if i remember the name right. I don't think this is related with Linux only, but more cpp

No it didn't, they don't want to officially deny it but it's clear they are not going to make exception to the normal process for the Ukraine. There was a press conference recently.

Or you could just take a look at the linked course and learn something. It's pretty good and worth working through.

The amount of work put into this from single person seems astonishing. Per a forum post the author doesn't even care about the donation page working. I wonder how people get to this point in their life that they can spend all days just

Thanks for providing this background. Still somehow it feels not right to read it. But I suppose it may be some cultural difference. In country I live in correspondence secrecy is a constitutional right, so maybe people value it differently

I find it disturbing that everyone acts like it's normal that private correspondence gets leaked and now is discussed in public. What gives you the right to read those emails?

Open a bug based on functional (or non functional) impact. Prioritize accordingly. I think if the problem is severe it shouldn't be hidden behind a TODO. If it's not severe then likely it doesn't need attention.

I consider adding TODOs in the code an anti pattern. Those are usually unclear, lack ownership, and purpose of the intended changes gets obsolete. Whenever I read code with TODOs I find it that more often than not they hurt readability. Usu

Thanks for posting this. I think there isn't much knowledge about ecc among typical customers. I wish at some point ecc would be the norm. The cost doesn't seem high but for any professional PC usage it seems it's necessary.

I don't know how people do this. I can't even work on the balcony, because it's either too bright, too hot, too cold or too loud. And it's in moderate climate.

Something to consider is taking the time and learning algorithms and data structures and applying to faang for software engineering job. They still recruit and at least one do it fully remote in this situation. It maybe risky though because

If I can suggest something - don't neglect physical training. You will need a lot of endurance (both physical and mental) to go through some of those onsite interviews. Also take breaks if possible. As to resources - as many have said

Generics help with reducing of code duplication. This doesn't really depend on what you want to do exactly, more on how complex your code base is.
