The only to-do list that I've actually used for more than a week is Any.do. I really like how you can organize your tasks vaguely based on time (Today, Tomorrow, Upcoming, Someday). Adding that solves a lot of the author's problem

I know a few people who put >$10 into this game who previously never bought anything on the app stores. If anything, I'm glad they were able to get more people to link their credit cards to their accounts.

They were very important. There was a large gap in the mid to late 90s - early 2000s where we would have had to use floppy disks if not for CDs. Broadband wasn't widely available until the mid 2000s.

ScummVM works very well for Grim Fandango, Day of the Tentacle, Maniac Mansion, and other Scumm-based games. I do wish they would re-release these games on Steam though.

It's not just the day or time of day - it also has to do with what tech news is going on at the time, who happens to be browsing /new at the time you submitted, etc.

Don't put too much stock in a Show HN. They are extremely hit or miss depending on the time you submit. You might get thousands of hits, you might get 20. The only thing you should would worry about is making sure if there is a spike t
