It sounds better, but is ARM actually handling the 64 bit ISA transition better than Intel's Itanium fiasco? (AMD's ISA won). Also, odd that Gruber doesn't mention graphics, and likelihood that this has an Imagination serie

xbox360's Xenos GPU has 240 gflops. Maybe iPad 5 will reach this, by x4 the iPad 4's 76.8 gflops. The series 6 rogue GPU has a lot of headroom.

Another way to visualize this is if you had a perfectly flat planet with no atmosphere, you could orbit at head height. You could sort of do this on the moon, but mountains.

PC's are modular. You can mix and match (at least, until a new motherboard standard); you can replace parts (at least, while they're still made). One problem with mobile phones is that they haven't been fast enough - by tight

In Australia, it's common for students to share a house, and all go on the lease. This favors the landlord, because each tenant is liable for the entire rent.

well, documentation and reality easily get out of step - plus, documentation is a form of advertising. Unit-tests, that you can run yourself to verify, are better documentation. Static typing is another form of reliable documentation.

User-defined static types are a theory of a solution. But mostly we don't know what the hell we are doing, so we don't have a correct theory. And this is right, because instead of perfecting our theory, we should be adding the nex

Whew, nothing to worry about! All you need is massive publicity for paypal to do the right thing. Missteps create opportunity - e.g. does stripe facilitate crowd-source payments?
