Maybe what you are noticing is the "laptop on lap" detection? Check the bios, there was a "cool when on lap detected" mode on mine. Turn that off and re-test.

The castings and frame are incredibly strong. Or in other words; when those are damaged, the rest of the car is likely beyond economical repair. Even without insurance. Tear it appart for parts.

From an engineering perspective I would ask: Can your sensor package understand the environment to the required (low) failure rate? Radar/Lidar/Ultrasonic is going to give you information that your camera systems will not give you

It makes a difference if you make it available to the average joe with limited technical understanding or not. You can't change the NSA, but you can resuce the amount of abuse. It's the same with guns, USA vs Europe for example.

Just take a look at countries where they have a working bike infrastructure like Denmark or the Netherlands and adapt it your your country. (Also, separated bike lanes)

It does not increase power. But it couples data instead of static noise into the communication which might be more annoying on the other end.
