I may be missing something... Is bash exec()ing something in the loop? If so, caches will be the least of our concerns; there will be context switches, system calls, and even I/O, all orders of magnitude slower than even DRAM access. O

Oh yes, that's the other Android calculator. The one in which you can't arbitrarily edit the input field, only backspace from the right. Especially frustrating when modifying expression with parentheses.

Ashamed Belgian here. I understand this will sound grumpy and humorless. The new passport design seems to be very popular in my home country. Mostly - I can only suppose - to the immense majority of my compatriots who do not travel outside

Two things: 1. It really does not matter. For any measurable skill, there will be millions of people stronger than you, and millions more who are weaker. Unless you are aiming for the very top (think Usain Bolt) and being the best will be

I think dynamic linking is great for saving (DRAM) memory, but for caches I am having trouble imagining a case in which this would make a practical difference. You would need two distinct , long-lived dynamically-linked executables, both b
