My ASUS Slider is supposed to be getting the update quite soon along with the Transformer. Last I read a couple weeks ago it was in final checks at Google.

The article seems to miss one key point that would make implementing this much more complex. While we have some control over our BMI (weight to height ratio) we don't have control over our height. I have two friends who are 5' tall and 6'5

I think cutting IE 8 off is a little premature. I agree it's a hassle to support but I think of for example Rogers Cable, a client of mine still sitting on locked down XP across the entire office base. You just cut their 6000-ish employee

This is a bit of an aside from the article but I am an antique pocket watch collector. I have dozens of watches over 100 years old and a few in the 250 year range. The obvious first thought is to say I 'own' those watches. However, when y

If Google wanted to do something visible they just have to flip the search page to a black background. Doesn't affect access to products but people will certainly notice.

Small tip... using markers to redact text and then putting through a good quality scanner is not fully effective. It's still mostly readable.

Interesting since I just had this exact conversation with a fellow developer yesterday. Last year he moved from a very small shop into a large corporate environment (largely due to a better pay-cheque and a growing family) but he was lamen

Apple, for all the shit they get for being “closed” and “evil”, has actually done far more to wrestle control back from the carriers and put it into the hands of consumers. Don't think i agree here. Apple wrestled control from the carrie

There is this line as well: "We continue to work on models launched prior to September 2011, please check back often for the status of older devices." My guess is the newest devices have an updated bootloader that they CAN unlock easily. I
