Speed also depends on where you are geographically. Amazon.com is probably faster than Taobao.com in the States, but I'd have the opposite experience over here in China. But then Google is the slowest this side of the GFW, so that migh

I think #2 is aggravated by lack of documentation. How would any new developer ever understand the context and trade-offs made at the time if they were never written down? If there's no records, it's either reverse engineering, or

That's really cool. Was looking at the Atreus[0] and Ergodox Ez[1] before, but this one looks even better. [0] http://atreus.technomancy.us/ [1] https://ergodox-ez.com/

It just gets more and more complex, doesn't it. Now we have to worry about remineralizing RO water. [Tap Water] | V [Water Softener]------------+ | | V

Might you be doing it wrong then? Effective practice requires you to stretch far enough, but not too far, lest you become panicked. It's better focused than "general". It requires concentration, effort and introspection. If y

Could probably do it with a lookup table, a counter and some fairly simple boolean logic. You could probably put it on a small FPGA.

I'm 20 and know what an 9 volt is. I have also licked one before. Now if you said 4.5V flat pack lantern batteries, then yes. I've seen like 1 before, and it was dead.

You could argue just as well that the number two purpose of an organization is to generate profit. Profit is a necessity to achieve your primary goals. People need to eat, but you'd have to be a pretty uninspired person if your number

I don't know much about the medical field, so excuse my ignorance in this, but couldn't we train Pathologists on the same data we train ANNs on? That way we could establish similar speed in feedback loops.

I heard impostor syndrome was en vogue at Google. That strikes me as the other extreme, unrealistic (low) confidence. Which is still damaging. Haven't worked at big G though, so I can't tell.

I think large systems would benefit from "playgrounds" as well. Staging servers are a thought in that direction, but they're a very serious matter designed to root out failures before they destroy a production system. I think

If you are worried about intimate contact with public charging stations giving your phone the cooties, just use a condom (as [0]). Or cut the data lines in a charging cable. That'd be white and green in a standard usb cable afaik. [0]
