I mean just look at geographic subreddits like r/canada and r/vancouver they all have people, moderators with extreme alt-right views often banning people for sharing opposing views. Astroturfing is common as aged reddit accounts

Not really when you consider that learning is always a prerequisite to the examples you listed. You can't fix a Ferrari without learning about a car's history and the previous owner's maintenance to trouble shoot. You can

I agree with this statement. No matter how smart or experienced you are every project is a novelty unless you are copying and pasting. Learning is the lowest common denominator in this field.
