Any reason for picking GPL. I was very excited to see this , but with a GPL license I can't use it in my projects .

Considering my home state of California, where homeless encampments have reached the level where they are arguably towns with functional postal service, a good long winter isn't a bad thing.

I'm very interested in exactly who would live here. Chicago ( aside from the crime which is almost absent from Lakeview/Wigglyvile) is pretty much the perfect city. Cheapish housing + affordable high quality public transit. Rather

I actually find this type of wishing to be very harmful. The future doesn't exist. I would have been more interested in seeing how this person plans on improving themselves over the next decade. For example I'm spending a good amo

Yes, but mainly because I get to help my coworkers. The actual work doesn't really matter, but being someone who can assist when your coworkers running into issues is great

Love it. If you have a pipeline setup you can of course run code on commit. Hell, this turns an iPad into a limited dev station. For situations where your not at your dev system you can still get some limited work done.

I've been working on a side project using Unity. With HDRP you can make things look very nice, at this point I'm only limited by my own time. You can buy Gaia, use HDRP and have a beautiful forest in about 3 minutes.

Reddit has been forcing the app on users for a while. Now you need to login or use the app to even read most threads unless you use old.reddit or a 3rd party site. So they're going to get more and more aggressive here.

Flutter web is amazing. I have the opportunity to build a side project with it last year, and I just love it. Compared to trying to build web applications with React or Vue, Flutter doesn't have to deal with the baggage of the JavaScri

Ruby has some what hostile rules imo. Such as end and lower casing variables. Another factor to mention, Python has some specific use cases, like machine learning which I can only effectively learn by using Python. I actually managed to sec

You have to use the right tool for the job. If you have a very big project, with a requirement for strong types then you should probably use C# or Java. If I'm in a situation where I need to throw up a rest server as soon as possible,

Is it just me or are Ruby and Python cousins. I really really didn't like Ruby when I tried to learn it at work , but Python just clicked. I imagine many Ruby programers migrated to Python. Then again, Nodejs started to take off when R

I'm not sure what the end game is here. The whole situation wasn't handled properly, if I was King I would have allowed landlords to have their property taxes waived during the pandemic. Expect getting an apartment to be much much

It’s open source, you could probably port it yourself. I somewhat agree with your viewpoint, but given Windows 10 is generally just Windows 10 , OSX is OSX… But Linux could be anything from Redhat to Alpine to a raspberry pi , I understand

A better metric would be how many jobs are leaving vs how many are being created. I do still get calls about full remote positions. Had I a family, I’d likely move to a cheaper state and buy a home
