I’m don’t mean this in a mean way, but if I were you that would not give me a great deal of confidence in my IT department’s level of talent. I’m assuming you are talking about setting up a Synapse server, not the Element web client. I’ll

This actually looks pretty sweet. I could get lost in this for an hour or two easy. It is not sweet that every action or click I make adds to my browser history. So going back to the previous website is not going to happen.

Yeah I don’t quite understand that stance either. It seems like a great replacement. Rsync > scp in my opinion. I have always reached for it first.

I can vouch for the Sansa clip. I used one heavily, years ago for this exact purpose. Mostly only podcast listening. Very small & lightweight, long battery life. Was unaware of the Rockbox firmware, looks interesting.

Ok so I randomly clicked on one of you links and it says Meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) indicated a protective effect of masks and respirators against clinical respiratory illness (CRI) and influenza-like illness (ILI

They aren’t wrong, the main culprit appears to be the synthetic neck gaiters. But most types of masks have not been shown to do this. So masks aren’t perfect, but are undoubtedly a net benefit. This link talks about neck gaiters https:

Thanks for the details! I have been interested in branching out away from web dev, and Rust does seem like a good avenue for that.

I’m sure I’m not the only one wondering, but why would someone want to write web code in Rust. To be fair, as a web developer by day, I still haven’t gotten around to trying to write any Rust in my free time. I am curious though. But afte

I think it's safe to say many Californians should start preparing for life without ride-share. Assuming Prop 22 does not pass, the most likely outcome seems to be Uber and Lyft will simply shut down operations for the time being, if no
